The project involves rebuilding the E4 road on the Djäkneboda–Bygdeå stretch to make it into a 2+1 dual carriageway, with lanes for overtaking and a central divider. The overall length of the stretch is approximately nine kilometres. The rebuilding of the E4 stretch will raise the service level and improve traffic safety. The measures will make the traffic environment safer for everyone travelling in the area: residents, commuters and professional drivers. The value of the contract is SEK 163 million.
