The GRK Group is expanding its operations to encompass the construction and maintenance of railways in Sweden. The recently established GRK Rail AB will help reinforce the GRK Group’s plans for continued growth. “We see a big, potential market in Swedish railway operations. A domestic company supported by the entire GRK Group supports our contribution to the modernization and enhancement of the Swedish railways,” says Timo Virmala, CEO of GRK Rail Oy.
Anneliina Kupiainen has been appointed CEO of GRK Rail AB. She has over ten years of experience in various roles involving project management and control, as well as infrastructure renovation. Before joining GRK Rail, Kupiainen worked in project and portfolio control at Stockholm Exergi, the local energy company in Stockholm. She has also gained extensive experience in railways in her role as head of project planning for the Nordics at Eltel Rail.
